Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC)
The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) is a standard-setting organisation for the jewellery and watch industry. The RJC Code of Practices establishes benchmarks for responsible business practices throughout the jewellery supply chain, from mine to retail. It sets out a common standard for ethical, social, human rights and environmental practices. Certification against the Code of Practices is mandatory for all RJC member companies.
Standards and Regulations can apply to specific countries. Below are all the countries the RJC Code of Practices applies or could be applied to. You can click on a country to view its profile on our CAHRA site.
