Bettercoal
Bettercoal is a membership organisation established by major European utilities (coal buyers) to promote responsible production in the coal supply chain.
The Bettercoal Code comprises a series of ten ethical, social and environmental principles and provisions for coal mining. Coal producers are assessed against these principles by independent third parties.
